Blogger events outfit look-book

Hi guys! So since starting my blog I have been given sooo many exciting opportunities!! Many being , that I’ve been asked to attend events for businesses and companies as a means of exposure for their brand. I’ve had so much fun with it and just thought I’d share some of the events I have attended so far and what I decided to wear along to them!! Hope you enjoy – char xxx

So I was asked to attend Designer Waxing’s 10th Birthday event in their salon in Glasgow. It was a really fun night with music, cocktails and lots of treatments in their salon. Designer waxing are looking to expand their company and are looking at opening up a second salon in Edinburgh!! They specialise in waxing however they offer various other treatments and I’d definitely recommend them if you are looking for any waxing type treatments for yourself!

I wore this gorgeous yellow checked blazer and skirt co-ord for Topshop. I paired it with a Zara basics sleeveless black vest top. I have this top in literally every colour as I loveee the quality and the fit of it. I also wore a pair of clear mule styled heels from Missguided and a black eyelet belt and a white jelly bag, both from pretty little thing. I also am obsessed with the necklace I wore with this outfit! It’s a small silver padlock chain necklace from Asos.

So as I am now an LTL BABE, I was invited along to Love Those Lashes’ world lash day event. LTL had makeup demos, fruity cocktails, a magician , the yummiest cupcakes and the most gorgeous flower wall you could think of!. I think everyone knows how obsessed I am with this company and how amazing their lashes are so again, I 110% recommend these girls to give you the best lashes !!

I wore a snake print blazer, a black graphic t shirt, both from Zara. A pair of black leather trousers, and a pair of white slingback leather heels, I am obsessed with these and got them for £20 in the Topshop sale!! I finished off this outfit with a gold chunky chain necklace and my small Louis Vuitton bag, I then added a satin scarf to my bag that I bought from new look.

So M&S reached out to me and asked if I wanted to visit the Braehead store for a bloggers preview of this years Christmas advent calendar, as I’m obsessed with makeup and skincare myself of course I said yes! This was a lovely day out with champagne and some rep talks on some of the brands that are featured in this years calendar, it’s Definitely something I’ll be buying myself for this year and it’s such good value for money for the products you are getting.

For this outfit I decided to wear my Rebellious Fashion pink jumper dress, black thing high boots, black faux fur bag and a black belt. Chunky knits are really in just now especially when layered!!

So I attended this gorgeous event held at club 29 in Glasgow. It was a lovely night full of cocktails, massages, glitter and a Q&A with the CEO of Fake Bake. Not only that but the goodie bag we got given was AMAAZZINGGGG!

For this event I decided to wear a leopard print layered ruffle skirt I found from Zara Kids, I got this in a size 13-14 which is the equivalent to a size 8. I wore this with a black lace bodysuit and wore my Willow Lane Fashion blue blazer over my shoulders. To finish off I wore gold jewellery , a gold chain belt from Asos, a black bowler bag from Topshop and Kurt Geiger black heels.

I’ve had so much fun attending all these events and over the moon that I get asked to go to things so exciting in the first place!! I have lots more coming up in the next few weeks and will be sure to post more about them on here and my Instagram soon! So keep your eyes peeled.

Pancakes & Errands

Hey guys! Thought I would do a post on a wee look I put together while running about doing errands. Something that was comfy for all day yet still looked put together.

So for Autumn winter my go to staple piece has got to be a pair of leather look trouser. They are very on trend and by switching your jeans for a pair of these instantly makes you appear like you made a bit more effort. Not only that but they are comfy to wear.

I paired mine with an oversized graphic t shirt as I love these just now. I love to wear them with pieces you wouldn’t normally think to pair them with just to add a bit of quirkiness and fun to your outfit. I got this one from Pretty little thing for £15!

I also added a denim shirt with a balloon sleeve detail for something different and to switch up from wearing my denim jacket all the time. I LOVE the style of the shirt and would also wear it buttoned up and styled the same sort of way, or even add a pair of similar blue coloured jeans for a double denim ensemble.

For shoes I wore my all white Yeezy 350 boost which are super comfy.

I then kept accessories white plain and wore a silver padlock chain necklace.

T-Shirt – £15 – PLT

Denim Shirt – £25 – PLT

Leather trousers – £19.99 – Stradivarius @ ASOS

Shoes – Adidas

Bag – LV

Necklace – ASOS

I also had a little pancake pit stop at the new pancake house Stack & Still in Glasgow ( IT IS AMAZING!!!) I 110% recommend going here wether you have a sweet or savoury tooth as this place literally makes pancakes acceptable to eat for dinner🤤!!

( Frit obvs couldn’t wait for a pic ) Anyway! All the pieces to my outfit will be tagged on my 21 Buttons so check it out!!! @charlotteemmareid

Summer in Denim

I wore this look to Kendrick Lamar @ Summer Sessions in Glasgow. I paired some blue denim shorts with a cropped sweatshirt from pretty little thing and I then added a sleeveless leather jacket from H&M ( I cut the sleeves myself ) . Also my amazing boots from EGO ( Jack studded biker boot ) .

For accessories I added a silver chain and some big hoops , a mini black bowler bag from TOPSHOP and a scrunchie with a half up half down look for a bit of fun and also to keep my hair out my face so I don’t need to worry about it moving much during the concert.

I wore this outfit to a Garden party in Bournemouth. It was a bit warmer in comparison to the weather in Glasgow so I got the perfect opportunity to wear this gorgeous button down denim midi dress from New Look. I then paired the dress with my sleeveless leather jacket for an edgier look. For shoes I added my white Valentino’s to brighten up the outfit and still keep it quite casual.

I wore a satin leopard print head scarf from Primark which was £3.99! And some gold jewellery (a key accessory to many of my outfits) the earrings from PLT for £6 and my red heart necklace from ASOS for £6!

For this casual look I wore my favourite jeans from pretty little thing (£30). And paired it with my sleeveless top from Zara which was £7.99 ( I have this top in every colour it’s so comfy and can be worn with any outfit!)

I’m really loving the look of the Alice band trend and I got this gorgeous satin knot detail band from H&M in mustard for £5.99! Alice bands are perfect for adding a bit more detail to an outfit as well as making it look like you have made that little bit more effort with your hair! Even on those lazy days.

London Look Book

#1 The Animal Print Co-ord

This gorgeous animal print co-ord ( skirt and jacket) was from Bershka! I paired this with a printed tee , black chunky belt and some red accessories ( a common theme of mine ) . I also wore some mesh socks to the look to add a little bit of fun.

I added a silk scarf to my bag for some extra detail and wore a pair of red earrings and a red lip to match.

Jacket – £25.99 – Bershka

Skirt – £15.99 – Bershka

Top – £12.99 – Bershka

Bag – £24 – ASOS

Belt – £15 – ASOS

Earrings – £7 – Topshop

Sunglasses – £14 – River Island

Scarf – £3.99 – Bershka

Socks – £3 – H&M

Shoes – £515 – Cruise ( Valentino )

#2 Pop of Colour

This gorgeous pink outfit was probably my favourite! It was comfy, summery and just so pretty. What makes this outfit has got to be the Frill bottom skirt with a tie waist detail! It was so flattering to wear and sat nicely. I then based my outfit around this skirt and paired it with a lighter toned top and kept it quite plain so it didn’t take away attention from the skirt.

I styled the outfit with a white bag and shoes, some statement earrings and gold layered necklaces. (And of course I used a pair of sunglasses to hold my hair back instead of actually wearing them).

I’m going to apologise for a very awful photo however this is a close up of my earrings and necklaces ( yes my choker is really annoying me also )

Top – £7 – River Island

Skirt – £38 – ASOS

Bag – £25 – ASOS

Earrings – £10 – ASOS

Necklaces – £12-£24 – BOHOMOON

Sunglasses – £14 – River Island

Shoes – £515 – Cruise ( Valentino)

#3 Pretty in Pink

I bought this gorgeous skirt and knew I had to put together the cutest pinkest outfit ever. I wanted to wear it with a lace bodysuit and hunted until I found one that was a similar colour! ( think I found a good match ). When styling it I wanted to keep everything to similar tones so there was no attention lost to detail in the skirt.

I added a white belt , white bag and wore some baby pink lace up shoes then added some fine jewellery to finish off the look.

Ruffle skirt – £25 – JADEELLACLOSETCO

Bodysuit – £ 18 – pinkparadiseuk

Bag – £25 – ASOS

Shoes – £18 – ASOS

Necklaces – £12-£24 – BOHOMOON

Bracelets – £39 each – Ted Baker

When I put together an outfit I like to pick out one piece and style the rest of the outfit around it. For example I used my pink cotton skirt as my key piece and styled everything based around that.

The Trench Coat

If there is one thing that I love more than fashion, its affordable fashion. I am the ultimate bargain hunter and with this statement trench coat at £12.99 from Bershka you wouldn’t even notice.

Not only does it have that traditional trench coat style but it has an additional red detailing making it that little bit different. Slogan printed clothing is very on trend right now so with that added detail you are bound to stand out.

I paired this with a red lip as well as  accessories to compliment the look of the jacket, Some black skinny jeans, a white hoodie and some black fluffy sliders. I wanted to wear this a bit more casually but still be able to make it look well put together.

Hoodie – I SAW IT FIRST – £12

Black denim jeans – Zara Sale  – £5.99

Sliders – Primark – £8
