Blogger events outfit look-book

Hi guys! So since starting my blog I have been given sooo many exciting opportunities!! Many being , that I’ve been asked to attend events for businesses and companies as a means of exposure for their brand. I’ve had so much fun with it and just thought I’d share some of the events I have attended so far and what I decided to wear along to them!! Hope you enjoy – char xxx

So I was asked to attend Designer Waxing’s 10th Birthday event in their salon in Glasgow. It was a really fun night with music, cocktails and lots of treatments in their salon. Designer waxing are looking to expand their company and are looking at opening up a second salon in Edinburgh!! They specialise in waxing however they offer various other treatments and I’d definitely recommend them if you are looking for any waxing type treatments for yourself!

I wore this gorgeous yellow checked blazer and skirt co-ord for Topshop. I paired it with a Zara basics sleeveless black vest top. I have this top in literally every colour as I loveee the quality and the fit of it. I also wore a pair of clear mule styled heels from Missguided and a black eyelet belt and a white jelly bag, both from pretty little thing. I also am obsessed with the necklace I wore with this outfit! It’s a small silver padlock chain necklace from Asos.

So as I am now an LTL BABE, I was invited along to Love Those Lashes’ world lash day event. LTL had makeup demos, fruity cocktails, a magician , the yummiest cupcakes and the most gorgeous flower wall you could think of!. I think everyone knows how obsessed I am with this company and how amazing their lashes are so again, I 110% recommend these girls to give you the best lashes !!

I wore a snake print blazer, a black graphic t shirt, both from Zara. A pair of black leather trousers, and a pair of white slingback leather heels, I am obsessed with these and got them for £20 in the Topshop sale!! I finished off this outfit with a gold chunky chain necklace and my small Louis Vuitton bag, I then added a satin scarf to my bag that I bought from new look.

So M&S reached out to me and asked if I wanted to visit the Braehead store for a bloggers preview of this years Christmas advent calendar, as I’m obsessed with makeup and skincare myself of course I said yes! This was a lovely day out with champagne and some rep talks on some of the brands that are featured in this years calendar, it’s Definitely something I’ll be buying myself for this year and it’s such good value for money for the products you are getting.

For this outfit I decided to wear my Rebellious Fashion pink jumper dress, black thing high boots, black faux fur bag and a black belt. Chunky knits are really in just now especially when layered!!

So I attended this gorgeous event held at club 29 in Glasgow. It was a lovely night full of cocktails, massages, glitter and a Q&A with the CEO of Fake Bake. Not only that but the goodie bag we got given was AMAAZZINGGGG!

For this event I decided to wear a leopard print layered ruffle skirt I found from Zara Kids, I got this in a size 13-14 which is the equivalent to a size 8. I wore this with a black lace bodysuit and wore my Willow Lane Fashion blue blazer over my shoulders. To finish off I wore gold jewellery , a gold chain belt from Asos, a black bowler bag from Topshop and Kurt Geiger black heels.

I’ve had so much fun attending all these events and over the moon that I get asked to go to things so exciting in the first place!! I have lots more coming up in the next few weeks and will be sure to post more about them on here and my Instagram soon! So keep your eyes peeled.

All of my outfits are tagged on my 21BUTTONS @charlotteemmareid .

Drive in movie – Halloween👻🍿

Hiiii guys!! So it’s been a wee while and I’ve been super busy but I’ve been up to some exciting stuff. I just thought I’d let you see what I have been up to in my spare time. So those of you who know me will know I loveeeee going to the cinema, but what I love more is being able to have the comfort of being at home while having the cinema experience. (Also a good effort from me getting myself out of bed) .

What better way to do it than going to a drive in movie!!! – me and Calum went to the drive in last year and loved it so came back again because it’s just so exciting!. We went to see ‘the shining’ for Halloween and it was fab. ( the pizza sharer combo deal really topped it off) .

As I like to be comfy I wore the cutest and comfiest little tracksuit from FemmeLuxefinery . I love this as it’s such a flattering fit and style to have for a tracksuit while still being comfortable. Also loved the colour as I don’t tend to wear much else than duller comfy clothes.

Pancakes & Errands

Hey guys! Thought I would do a post on a wee look I put together while running about doing errands. Something that was comfy for all day yet still looked put together.

So for Autumn winter my go to staple piece has got to be a pair of leather look trouser. They are very on trend and by switching your jeans for a pair of these instantly makes you appear like you made a bit more effort. Not only that but they are comfy to wear.

I paired mine with an oversized graphic t shirt as I love these just now. I love to wear them with pieces you wouldn’t normally think to pair them with just to add a bit of quirkiness and fun to your outfit. I got this one from Pretty little thing for £15!

I also added a denim shirt with a balloon sleeve detail for something different and to switch up from wearing my denim jacket all the time. I LOVE the style of the shirt and would also wear it buttoned up and styled the same sort of way, or even add a pair of similar blue coloured jeans for a double denim ensemble.

For shoes I wore my all white Yeezy 350 boost which are super comfy.

I then kept accessories white plain and wore a silver padlock chain necklace.

T-Shirt – £15 – PLT

Denim Shirt – £25 – PLT

Leather trousers – £19.99 – Stradivarius @ ASOS

Shoes – Adidas

Necklace – ASOS

I also had a little pancake pit stop at the new pancake house Stack & Still in Glasgow ( IT IS AMAZING!!!) I 110% recommend going here wether you have a sweet or savoury tooth as this place literally makes pancakes acceptable to eat for dinner🤤!!

( Frit obvs couldn’t wait for a pic ) Anyway! All the pieces to my outfit will be tagged on my 21 Buttons so check it out!!! @charlotteemmareid

Love those lashes Q&A

So I was lucky enough to be asked by the girls at love those lashes to become a lash ambassador (LTL BABE). I jumped at the opportunity as I cannot live without having my lashes done.

I always get very long wispy looking semi permanent lashes. At Love those lashes they gave me the option to get classics lashes or Russian lashes. I decided to try out the Russian lashes as I was sceptical and heard really good things.

Ive Been asked some questions about my lashes so I’m going to jump into it and do a wee Q&A.

I lOVE my lash naps! Especially at love those lashes. They place is completely Zend out and so relaxing you can literally just drift off. The girls make you feel so comfortable and offer you a blanket. Honestly the second favourite thing about love those lashes ( after the amazing lashes of course).

The lashes from the girls at LTL don’t cause any damage to your natural lashes. This is one of the main reasons for me why I love them so much is because I worry about how the lashes will affect my natural lashes. As long as you follow the simple steps to take care of your lashes. You will have no problems. The girls are happy to help with answering questions about your lashes and let you know the after care so you are 100% in safe hands.

So I have had my lashes on for about 3 weeks now. I’ve been back once for an infill and honestly even with that my lashes were still in perfect condition before my Infill! I’ve had so many compliments and messaged about my lashes since having them done and cannot recommend them enough!

So I went for LTL’s Russian lashes mainly because I seen others with them and they looked amazing, also as I’ve never been offered these types before as I’ve just had semi permanent ones done so I was intrigued to try something new. I’m OBSESSED with them and can’t imagine wearing any other lashes but the Russians from LTL. They are so fluffy , lightweight and give you that ultimate glam look. As I only tend to wear makeup when out at that weekends or on occasions that’s the exact look I go for.

I’d say the best thing about wearing LTL extensions is waking up and feeling ready to go. When I wear my LTL lashes it cuts my makeup routine down by half as my lashes really complete my makeup look and make it look like you made that extra effort in the morning for work or even before a night out. I also just love knowing that I can get away with not really doing anything in the morning and my lashes will look good.

I can’t recommend Love those Lashes enough. The girls, the treatments and the outcome of the treatments are all amazing! I feel so welcome and relaxed when I go to LTL and always leave as a happy customer. If you girls are wondering where to go then please visit the girls at LTL!

They always post different offers on their Instagram and have the link to their website for bookings in their bio. Please please PLEASE follow them and book yourselves in. Their Instagram is @love_those_lashes.

Check them out girls and if you have any other questions just ask!! – char xxx

The Pinafore dress

As many people will know animal print and any kind of animal print is on trend atm. Snake skin, zebra , Dalmatian and even the classic leopard print , these prints have managed to work their way into our wardrobes.

I’m not normally a fan of zebra print, just my personal opinion. However, I fell in love with this pinafore style zebra print dress from Topshop! I thought it was very elegant and the colours complimented each other so well that it really didn’t come across as Being zebra print.

I styled this dress with a pair of Perspex mule heels , gold jewellery and a bold red lip.

I wore this outfit to a 21st birthday however it could be worn to any event. It could also be styled down by playing about with layers and adding a T-shirt/jumper underneath and a pair of trainers. That’s what I plan on doing as Im trying not to just wear things once and actually rewear the things I’m buying.

I got many compliments off of this outfit but apart from me absolutely LOVING the design, the shape and the fit were perfect, it was so comfortable to wear and for me I need to get something that can hold me in place all night! This did just that.

It comes in a few other styles including a gorgeous polka dot and floral design! And for those of you that are students , topshop are offering 20% off just now! So grab this while you can!!
